The retained bearing has a lipped outer race |
The retained outer race is fitted to a retained housing. Observe matched numbers |

The retained housing differs from the expansion housing in that it has pusher rods and side screws. Place pusher rods in holes on side of housing |

Push in the pusher rods and fit side screws |
|
|
Note these side screws should only be tightened after complete assembly of the housing in position |
The lower half of the housing may now be fitted to the bearing once the cage assembly has been greased |
